G'day from Australia.
I am involved in the research of my families history and have reached a stumbling block.
My Great Great Grandfather, William Dennis and his wife, Agnes Taylor, according to Parish Records for their marriage were both employed at Crathes as servants at the time of their marriage in 1837 and William was still employed at the time of the birth of his son in July 1837.
Can anyone help me with advice regarding Crathes Castle's records (I do know they are held at the Queen Mother Library) and what they contain or could direct me in a direction as I have been unable to establish the birth details and death details of William. I have been though the records held by Scotlands People and the 1841 census but to no avail.
Thank you for reading this. |
