Crathes Visitor Guide

Crathes Visitor Guide

Although it is intended that there will be a Burnett Gatherings in 2026,  Burnetts are always welcome at Crathes and, if requested, we will endeavour to compile a programme of activities and events to accord with visitor interest. Details of what this might include are listed below. The programme can be enjoyed by visitors independently or we can arrange for the assistance of a guide.

For enquiries, please contact burnettcurator@outlook.com

For visitors who wish to make their own arrangements, we hope that the information is useful.

Whilst much of what visitors wish to see relates to Burnett history, there has also been requests for recreational activities as are also described below. This allows to present a programme which meets the wishes of the whole family or group. There is no limit to group size, but clearly what we can provide must relate to numbers.

Arranging programmes is Ally Reid.

Ally is a creative and motivated professional with a background in marketing, education, and community projects. She holds an MA (Hons) in Sociology and a PGDE (Primary Teaching) from the University of Aberdeen, along with an MSc in Marketing from Robert Gordon University.

Her experience ranges from managing teams and operations to teaching across primary stages. She has been closely involved in a local Outdoor and Active committee, recently developing an extensive business plan for major a community project.
