Many years ago there was a annual garden cup contest for the best garden on the Leys Estate. Moving with the times and with the advent of garden centres and a more mobile population, the competition ended in the 1960’s. The cup then became the trophy for the top local primary school football team. Here with Thomas with that Burnett Cup.
